Every year I write my end of year round up and think to myself “I should blog more” and then the next entry I find myself writing is the following year’s end of year round up.

I don’t take as many photos as I used to – mostly, I’ve just been remembering the concerts I go to and the places I visit.

I suppose the writing-in-my-blog is in a similar vein.

Today, I had bacon, chips, port salut cheese, smashed avocado, broccoli and a slice of buttered bread for dinner – kind of one of those “I need to eat these things soon” dinners.

At some point relatively soon, I do want to see The Odyssey in the cinema but since I like being in half-empty cinemas, I might have to take the day off mid-week and go to the first showing of the day then (don’t want to be in the cinema when it’s lunch time really).

I have a few concerts coming up that past-Rachel booked for me and actually, I’m at least mildly excited about going to them rather than the kind of meh about it that I’ve found myself being over the last few years (maybe more than a few). I know when I’m actually there, experiencing the concert, it’s good and afterwards I will have enjoyed going for a spot of loud music for my mental health. It’s just the run up, as always.

I signed up with Ellipsus to see what the fanficcers are writing with these days. There must still be lots of them just writing into a libreoffice doc on their laptops though right? Or doing what I used to do and just typing straight into the AO3/livejournal/dreamwidth window and hitting post.
